Uniform Policy The official dress code of St. Mary is a result of discussion among parents, students and administration. Certain standards of dress are acceptable for the business of attending school, just as certain standards are acceptable for varied other activities. Consequently, the school uniform is compulsory; all students are to wear it to and from school and during the whole school day ( 8:00.a.m.- 4:00 .p.m.) The school colours are navy blue, white and gray. Students may wear any combination of clothing from the standard and/or optional list shown below on most school days.
In-school footwear - black dress shoes. Socks, tights or pantyhose in navy to be worn with kilt. Running shoes, and boots and are not permitted .
In-school footwear: ALL black dress shoes(i.e. without logos, designs, coloured lines or stitching.) Boots of any description are not permitted. It is strongly recommended that students put a permanent name tag on the inside of uniform clothing. Grooming Exceptional Situations a) The principal may grant an exemption form school unifrom on a few, specila non-dress code days each year; or on certain school excursions, due to nature of outing. On such occasions, student dress is to refect good sense and good taste. b) When, for good reason, a student in unable to be in full uniform, he/she must i) wear as much of the uniform as possible
