Program Support

St. Mary C.S.S. welcomes all students into integrated classes. This concept of inclusion is also supported by the provision of Support services within the school environment. The multi disciplinary Student Services Support Staff work in active partnership with Program Support Services to support Subject Teachers and the School Based Support Team Meeting recommendations

Students with Individual Education Plans may access Program Support in a variety of ways to assist with specific learning needs. This service is also available to any student who is experiencing difficulty and who is referred by the subject teacher.

Individual assistance is available in the following areas:
Test, examination preparation, remediation, individual or group projects, homework/in-class assignments, research projects, speech/oral presentation, advanced lesson preparation, science lab write-ups, reading/writing/math, essay writing, organizational assistance, other.
